About Us

Welcome to Biker Journeys!

I have been riding & touring on BMW motorcycles since the early eighties. My first bike was a Yamaha 650 Heritage Special, I had it about 6 months before moving on to BMW’s. I bought my first BMW, a 1978 R100/7 from a friend, and from that day I have had a never ending affair for the BMW marque.

I rode that bike until 1993, riding about 86,000 miles.

I bought my 1991 K100RS from the BMW dealership in Ft. Collins, CO. It was used with 2,000 miles on it. “Pearl” as I like to call it, and I have been together ever since.

I met Donna in 1995 while we were both living in Evanston, WY. I took her for a 3 day trip (she had never been on a motorcycle trip before) through Utah, and since that trip I have never had to ask her if she is ready for another adventure on the BMW, she is ALWAYS ready to go!

Photography is my other hobby, outdoor landscapes my favorites. Take a look at my galleries, prints are available and make excellent gifts, for home or office. All the photographs were taken on our biker journeys across America.

After living in Las Vegas for 15 years, we decided to get back to our small town roots and leave the big city “rat race” behind. We are now living in Wickenburg, AZ. We are now very close to two (of three) of my kids & three (of four) grand kids. We travel by motorcycle and enjoy the great riding and scenery the United States of America has to offer.

Welcome, enjoy the ride!
